Weekend Baking | Asparagus Tart

For spring and summer lunches, this asparagus tart is so simple to make and looks really effective, especially if you have guests round. I made it again for the first time this year, as it's asparagus season, and it seems to be everywhere! Read on to check out the recipe and some more pictures...

You Will Need
Asparagus
Gruyere Cheese
Olive Oil
Puff Pastry

To Make
1) Preheat your oven to 200
2) If you are using ready to roll puff pastry, place it on a baking sheet. If not, roll the pastry out to fit.
3) Using a fork, spear the middle of the pastry, leaving a border around the edge
4) Bake for around 10-15 minutes then remove the pastry from the oven
5) Grate the cheese and sprinkle in the middle of the tart, place the asparagus on the top and brush the edges with olive oil
6) Bake for around 20 minutes and serve with salad

What do you like to bake at the weekends?

  6. This looks absolutely delicious! I’ve never made anything like this to be honest. It sounds relatively easy and like something my toddler would eat, haha. I’ll have to give it a try. Thanks for sharing, beauty. I hope you’re well. I haven’t been as present in the blogging world these past few months. I hope you have a great week ahead!
