Weekend Baking | Sugar-Free Granola Bars

My sugar-free snacking certainly slipped a little bit over the Christmas holidays but I didn't mind at all. It's the season to enjoy yourself, and I definitely did! However, I'm back in my normal daily routine now and I've been looking for tasty, filling and healthy snacks that I can take to work or have as a treat in the evening. I created these flapjacks to fill my chocolate and biscuit void, so read on to check out how to make them...

You Will Need
300g of Rolled Oats
150g of Melted Butter
2tbsps of Maple Syrup
1 Mashed Ripe Banana
4 Chopped Dates
50g of Raisins

To Make
1) In a pan, melt the butter and add the maple syrup, mashed banana and dates
2) Turn off the heat and add the oats and raisins
3) Transfer the mixture into a tin and bake at 180° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown
4) Cool, and store in an airtight container

Have you made granola bars before?
