London | Hampstead Heath

Over the Christmas break, I took a trip to London to visit Kenwood House and have a walk around Hampstead Heath. If you're a Rom-Com fan, you might recognise Kenwood House from Notting Hill but if not, it's a beautiful former stately home with an impressive art collection and a wonderful library.

Hampstead Heath sits upon one of the highest points in London, enabling visitors to see lots of the capital's most famous landmarks, including The Shard, St Pancras, The London Eye and the BT Tower. It is also home to Hampstead Ponds where the public can swim in (though probably best in warmer weather) and many walking trails.

Have you visited Hampstead Heath or Kenwood House before?

  2. What an amazing place to visit, I hope I'll get to see it. Hampstead Health seems to offer great views, and not only that. It looks kind of familiar. If you didn't mention Nothing Hill, I probably wouldn't made the connection but having seen that film many times, I do get where the deja vu feeling is from. I didn't know it sits on one of the highest place in London and thus enables a view of most of the sights, but that's definitely a plus and another reason to see it. I do want to visit London so badly.
