Evening Meals | Fail-Safe Chilli

I've been making this recipe since I was at school. I used to be a bit of a picky eater and this was the first dish I remember finishing and even getting seconds! It's a really heartwarming and filling dinner and with autumn arriving, I thought that it would be the perfect time to finally share the recipe that I've been making the longest, so read on to check it out...

You Will Need
Serves 4
500g of Ground Beef (or Vegetarian Alternative)
1 Jar of Tomato Passata
1 Tin of Kidney Beans
1 Small Red Onion
2 Cloves of Garlic
1 Red Chilli
1tsp of Smoked Paprika
1tsp of Hot Chilli Powder
Parsley (to serve)

To Make
1) Dice the onion, garlic and chilli and lightly fry for 3-4 minutes
2) Add the beef and stir in until it's cooked through
3) Add the tomato passata, kidney beans and spices and add an extra splash of water
4) Turn the heat down low and cook for at least 1 hour, adding some extra water if the mixture gets too thick
5) Serve with rice or tortillas and sour cream, salsa and avocado

What is your chilli recipe?
