Cheat Sheet | Brows

Eyebrows and maintenance are something that I read more and more of and so today, I wanted to share some top tips that I've learnt over the years. I've definitely made some major mistakes in the past that have taken way to much time to rectify! Read on to find out more...

Trim Not Pluck
I wish that someone had explained this to me when I was a teenager! Instead of plucking where your eyebrows begin, trim them down so that they don't start halfway along your eye. Not only will this make your brows seem fuller, you won't have to spend lots of time filling them in every morning.

──────

Beginning & End
To find the end of your eyebrows, line up your tweezers or eyebrow brush with the outer corners of your eye, bringing them up to the brow bone. For where they start, they should be in line with the outer bridge of your nose.

Maintenance
Everyone has different eyebrows and different ways of keeping them in check. Personally, I'm a fan of clear brow gel as it gives a natural look but also keeps them in place. For defining them, blending is key to stop them from looking drawn on.

──────

Step Back
It's only natural to want to stand as close to the mirror as possible to see your brows but standing a foot away gives a great perspective when you are filling in so that you don't stand back and realise that you've drawn on way more than you intended!

How do you look after your eyebrows?

  20. I suck at doing my brows, mine do not need much but finding a color to fill in a tine bald spot on the beginning can be incredibly hard. I love these tips and maybe next time I do them they will look better. Thanks for sharing!
