Food | Daisy Pancakes

A whole day dedicated to pancakes is pretty much my dream. I'd say that I'd been waiting for this for ages but if you read this blog regularly, you know that to me, every day is pancake day. I was debating doing a different take on a Dutch pancake (check out my post about them here) but in the end, I decided to go the semi-traditional way and stuck to Scotch pancakes which also gave me a great excuse to turn them into edible art! Read on to check out more pictures and to find out the recipe...

You Will Need
Makes 6 Pancakes
150g of Self Raising Flour
150ml of Milk
1 Egg
A Pinch of Salt

To Make
1) Put the flour and salt into a bow. Make a well in the middle
2) Add the milk and egg into the well and whisk the batter until smooth
3) In a frying or griddle pan, add a little oil and using a ladle, spoon the mixture in
4) Once bubbles appear in the batter, flip the pancakes
5)Once brown, cut into shape and serve straight away with sliced lemon

Will you be making pancakes tomorrow?
