Weekend Baking | Cinnamon Twist Bread

Bread isn't something I have a lot of confidence in making but after spending an evening catching up on The Great British Bake Off, I thought that I would give it a go! I also have to admit that I'm not actually a huge fan of bread so I knew that I would have to find something that I really wanted to eat in order for me to want to make it. Eventually, after searching on Pinterest, I found this recipe which was really easy to make. The traditional way is to fashion the bread into a crown shape but I kept mine as a long twist and also added some cinnamon icing once it had cooled. I'm very happy with the way it turned out (and tasted!) so I'll definitely be trying some more bread recipes soon.

Have you done any baking this week?

  1. Ah this looks soo tasty!! I don’t think I’ve made bread before, but it’s certainly something I would like to try. My Mum has a bread maker machine, and it always makes the house smell beautiful every time it’s used. I haven’t started watching The Great British Bake-Off but really want to get round to it. Your photos are pretty, I love the close ups, and they make me feel hungry. Thanks for sharing! :-) xx

  7. Okay, so this looks SO good! The last time I baked was a couple of weeks ago, I made s'mores cookies! I don't do too much baking because there's only a few of us, so it ends up going to waste if I make big batches, so I tend to wait for family gatherings. Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you're having a great start to your weekend!
