Weekend Baking | Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie

Now that September is upon us, I've definitely been thinking of some warming desserts to make. This chocolate chip cookie was the perfect excuse to try out my new skillet pan and I really loved the result. I baked it for a shorter time than I normally would so that the inside was squidgy and tasted fantastic with ice-cream (though custard would probably be better for the colder weather now!). Read on to find out how to make it....

You Will Need
Makes 3-4
100g of Caster Sugar
60g of Unsalted Butter
100g of Self Raising Flour
75g of Chocolate Chips
1 Egg

To Make
1) Mix the butter and sugar together in a large bowl
2) Beat the egg and then slowly add it to the sugar and butter mix
3) Fold in the flour and then stir in the chocolate chips
4) Pour into the skillet pans and bake at 180° for around 25 minutes
5) Serve with ice-cream or custard

Have you done any baking this week?
