For the past few months, I've been reading and seeing a lot about oval makeup brushes. I was desperate to try them out and so last week I put my Christmas gift cards to good use! I wanted to get a full set so I could properly try them and see what all the hype was about. Read on to find out what I thought...
Overall I was more than impressed with these brushes. The larger ones for foundation and powder are definitely worth getting as they buff the makeup into the skin gently, you don't lose a lot of product and it makes the complexion look even and flawless. The medium size brushes for concealer and contour are also good and the structure of them really work with the natural shape of the face. I wouldn't use the smaller brushes for lips and eyes on a day to day basis as I think that standard brushes do exactly the same thing and it was a little awkward to use them but altogether I really love this makeup brush set and would recommend it to anybody looking for new brushes or for a present for any beauty lover!
Thanks for reading :)*

DeleteI've not tried oval brushes and am always a bit confused about whether they'd actually be good or not! Going on this, I'd probably only invest in foundation/face brushes as I already have plenty of lip and eye ones that do the job fine and like you say they just look such an awkward shape!
